15 ‘Israeli spies’ held in Turkey

At least 15 individuals with hyperlinks to an Israeli intelligence service have been apprehended in Turkey, sources mentioned on Thursday.

They had been arrested as a part of an investigation launched by the Istanbul public prosecutor’s workplace, in response to Turkish judicial sources.

The suspects had been relaying data and passing paperwork to the Israeli spy company, mentioned the sources, who requested anonymity resulting from restrictions on talking to the media.

The community relied on Palestinian and Syrian nationals living in Turkey, who obtained funds via wire transfers and couriers, the sources added.

The suspects had been introduced in court docket after which transferred to the Maltepe jail in Istanbul.
