
The anti-terrorism court of Islamabad approved the bail of 3 minors arrested from D Chowk and ordered their release.
Anti-Terrorism Court Islamabad Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain heard the bail application of 3 minors arrested from D Chowk. The lawyer of the petitioner, 14-year-old Siam, took the stand that the child came to Islamabad on October 21 with his mother from Afghanistan for treatment. The child was picked up from home in Shahzad Town and filed a case in the police station secretariat. The child will go back to Afghanistan.
The court expressed its displeasure over the failure of the police to produce the record and inquired as to how long it would take for the record to come. There are other applications as well. The prosecutor told the court that within an hour and a half, the police would arrive with the records. The court ordered the release of the 14-year-old boy after granting bail on Rs 10,000.
The bail applications of 2 more minor children arrested from D Chowk were also approved. The children’s lawyer took the stand that the accused Samudran Khan is 16 years old and Shahzad Khan is 17 years old. After picking up the two children from the house, the police filed a case in the police station secretariat. The court granted bail on a surety of Rs 10,1000 and ordered his release.
