Mumbai: Three police personnel, together with a sub-inspector and two constables, have been attacked by a mob with sharp weapons in Antop Hill space in Mumbai after police questioned them for not sporting masks and flouting coronavirus lockdown norms.
The incident came about at Kokhri Agar, Garib Nawaz Nagar at round 6:45 pm on May 14 when a joint workforce of policemen from the Antop Hill police station and the state SRPF have been on patrolling responsibility. According to a report, a mob of over 15 individuals assaulted three policemen, together with a PSI, with sharp weapons. All three police personnel suffered accidents within the assault.
