Islamabad:
The federal government has closed 446 utility stores across the country to cut costs, while more than 500 utility stores are also being considered.
Sources at Utility Stores say that despite the closure of the stores, no employee will be laid off, the stores that had low revenue and high losses have been closed.
Sources have said that most of the utility stores established in rural areas of the country have been shut down.
