A huge quantity of drugs was recovered from a French national who came to Pakistan from India.
According to the spokesman of Anti-Narcotics, anti-narcotics operations are ongoing across the country. In this regard, ANF recovered a large quantity of drugs from a French national in an operation at Islamabad International Airport.
The accused had come to Islamabad from India and was now on his way to Sri Lanka via Muscat. During the search, one kg of 58 grams of hashish was recovered from the bag of the accused.
The accused, who came to Pakistan on a visit visa, was smuggling drugs by hiding them in the packaging of chocolates.
According to the authorities, a case has been registered against the accused under the Anti-Narcotics Act and investigation has been started.
