Islamabad:
Foreign currency worth lakhs of passengers and valuables left at Islamabad International Airport were returned by Airports Authority officials setting a high example of honesty and professionalism.
According to the spokesperson of Headquarters Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) Jinnah International Airport Terminal One (Old Terminal) Karachi, setting an example of professional performance, passenger baggage was returned to Islamabad Airport.
He said that the forgotten valuables of the passenger including currency were returned at Islamabad Airport, the foreign currency worth 19 lakh rupees left at the customs scanner was returned to the passenger.
The spokesperson said that the passenger had arrived in Islamabad from Sharjah by a private airline, and the passenger was contacted through the ID card in the wallet and through the Immigration (IBMS) system.
PAA spokesperson said that laptop, residence documents, credit card and other valuable items have also been returned to the passenger.
He said that the passenger thanked the Islamabad Airport management for their professional performance
