An important TTP commander with a head price of Rs 1 crore was killed by unknown persons in Kannada province of Afghanistan.
According to media reports, the main commander of TTP, Rahimullah alias Shahid Umar, was shot dead by unknown persons in Shringal area of Kunar province of Afghanistan.
No statement has been issued by the government of Afghanistan and Pakistan regarding the death of the outlawed TTP commander, but the militant organization has confirmed the death of its commander.
Afghan forces sources said that the TTP commander was shot dead when he was returning to his post after attending a luncheon of the Afghan Taliban along with his other colleagues.
Pakistan’s security officials have said that the price of TTP commander Shahid Umar’s head was set at 1 crore rupees.
