After the Pahalgam incident, Abdullah and 7 -year -old Mansa, who were forcibly sent to Pakistan from India without treatment, had the first successful surgery, the father said that India had returned frustrated, but the field marshal gave the children a new life.

In his video message, Abdullah and Mansa’s father Shahid Ahmed from Hyderabad, the second largest city in Sindh, thanked Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for successful surgery at AFIC.

After a successful surgery at the AFIC, Abdullah and Mansa have a new hope in the life of Mansa. The treatment of both siblings was underway in India, but due to Pak -India tension, the Indian government sent both children back to Pakistan.

After the AFIC building and surgery, child Abdullah and Mansa’s father Shahid Ahmed said in their special video that Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir took immediate notice and arranged for the children’s surgery, otherwise I was disappointed to return from India.

Father Shahid Ahmed said, “Field Marshal Asim Munir took immediate notice of Abdullah and Mansa’s case and the AFIC did surgery, which has not been happening for 9 years.”

Shahid Ahmed added that AFIC doctors made the surgery successful with hard work and skill and now both children are in good shape.

He said, “Praise be to Allah, my children are now better, I am my own patient, maybe I could not bear the tragedy.” Doctors worked hard which is commendable. AFIC is the best institution. “

On the other hand, Commandant AFIC Major General (R) Dr Naseer Ahmad Soomro said that AFIC is the Premier Cardiology Institute of Pakistan and there are excellent cardiology services.

Major Dr. Naseer Ahmad Soomro said, “Children were treated here on the special instructions of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and Allah gave us success.”

Deputy Commandant Brigadier Dr Khurram Akhtar said that Abdullah and Mansa had a complex heart disease, which made the surgery not possible at one stage.

Brigadier Dr Khurram Akhtar said, “Abdullah’s surgery covers five to six hours which was successful. We have a capable team that is internationally trained. “

Colonel Dr Dawood Kamal said that the treatment given to children was much better than India’s plan and now both children are able to go home in a better state.

Colonel Dr Daud Kamal said, “Praise be to Allaah. Both children are better and in a position to go home.”
