The spokesperson of the Foreign Office has said that Afghan land is being used for terrorism against Pakistan.
In the weekly briefing, Foreign Office Spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi said that Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is on a visit to the European Union, where he participated in the 4th European Union Indo-Pacific Forum and met with the officials of the European Union.
According to the spokesman, Ishaq Dar met the Foreign Minister of Hungary. The two leaders also signed a memorandum of understanding on scholarships for students in Hungary. Apart from this, Ishaq Dar held separate meetings with the Danish, Slovenian and Dutch foreign ministers.
He said that before the European Union, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar visited Moscow on November 17-18, where he attended the SCO Heads of Government meeting. The Foreign Minister also held meetings with the Russian President, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister in Moscow. He discussed relations with Afghanistan in the SCO meeting, later the SCO issued a joint declaration on economic operations.
The spokesperson said that they strongly condemn the aggression of the Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank and the desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. A large number of arrests were made in the Red Fort blasts in India. Most of the arrested people belong to Indian Occupied Kashmir. India is constantly trying to change the population ratio in Occupied Kashmir. Pakistan demands the international community, the United Nations and other international forums to take notice of the human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir.
Reacting to the death sentence awarded to Hasina Wajid, the spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that it is an Indonesian matter of Bangladesh. Bangladesh has its own constitution and laws.
He said that the policy on border closure and trade with Afghanistan remains intact. The reason for this is the Afghan Taliban who are supporting the terrorists. Taliban should also stop those Afghan citizens who are doing terrorism in Pakistan.
The spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that we have suspended trade with Afghanistan, due to Afghanistan’s support to terrorists. The land of Afghanistan is continuously being used in terrorism against Pakistan. Afghan citizens are continuously attacking Pakistan from the territory of Afghanistan.
In the weekly briefing, the spokesman further said that Pakistan welcomes the Turkish President’s statement on the mediation delegation. The visit of the Turkish delegation was delayed due to the Vice President’s foreign visits. Many countries have talked about Pakistan-Afghan mediation.
