Foreign Office Spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi clarified during the weekly press briefing the next day that Pakistan has never refused to negotiate with any government in Kabul, however, Pakistan will not negotiate with any terrorist group, whether it is the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) or the outlawed Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).
The spokesman of the Foreign Office further said that the Afghan Taliban are providing support to anti-Pakistani organizations while the Taliban also tried to fuel Pashtun nationalism in Pakistan. Pakistan has more Pashtuns than Afghanistan, so propaganda in the name of Pashtun identity is misleading.
Spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that after the Taliban came to power, there was a significant increase in terrorism in Pakistan.

What the Afghan Taliban who are in power in Afghanistan are doing, is no longer hiding from anyone. All the terrorist incidents that have taken place in Pakistan have involved Afghanistan and Afghans in one way or another.
The history of conflict with Pakistan is also very old. Immediately after the establishment of Pakistan, Afghanistan started negative propaganda and aggressive actions against Pakistan. From not recognizing Pakistan in the United Nations to debating the Durand Line, Afghanistan has been on a roll.
In Pakistan’s provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, which are adjacent to Afghanistan, the Afghan government started negative propaganda immediately after the establishment of Pakistan.
Sometimes the Pashtunistan stunt and sometimes the propaganda of presenting the Pashtuns living across the border as one, but time proved that these propagandas could not break the unity and national unity of Pakistan in any way. During the reign of Sardar Dawood, this propaganda became very intense and even after that, things have continued as they were.
Afghanistan has been suffering from a long civil war. In principle, the governments of Afghanistan should plan and implement the development and welfare of the people of their country.
But it has been seen that no Afghan government has worked for the development and prosperity of the people of Afghanistan, but has propagated against Pakistan to hide its failures and shortcomings and corruption and tried to tell the Afghan people that Pakistan is responsible for the poverty and misery of Afghanistan.
At the same time, the order to target Punjab in particular, away from Pakistan, began. Afghanistan is a very large country of two and a half million square kilometers. This country is inhabited by many ethnic groups and cultural groups.
Each has its own language and customs. Therefore, Afghanistan is not a country of any tribe, nation or community. Apart from a few major linguistic and cultural groups, twenty small tribes have also been living in it for centuries.
The pace of social evolution in Afghanistan has also been very slow. The interventions of world powers have blocked the way of development in this country. Unfortunately, each group in the region has had its own interests and each group has been a pawn or an instrument of various powers for their own interests.
During the mid-twentieth century, Afghanistan had a series of regular governments. During this time, social and cultural evolution was very high in a couple of cities, especially in Kabul, and this city continued to represent a prosperous and free-thinking class, but the rest of Afghanistan remained stuck in the grip of tribalism and poverty.
No government has made any plan that would make development possible at the grass root level. Therefore, no government system could be developed in this country. What little system there was was destroyed during the Afghan war and the remaining infrastructure became a victim of internecine civil war.
Now the Taliban are back in power. Many circles in Pakistan believed that since the Taliban belonged to the land, they would play a better role in the development of the people of Afghanistan.
Some circles in Pakistan also believed that after the Taliban came to power, India’s influence in Afghanistan would decrease and terrorism would end in Pakistan, but all these expectations ended with time.
When the Taliban entered Bagram, they opened the prisons. The prisoners in these jails had escaped. The terrorists who were arrested and imprisoned during the regime of Hamid Karzai and Ashraf Ghani were released by the Taliban.
Ashraf Ghani administration continued to use these arrested terrorists for blackmailing with Pakistan. Pakistan has been demanding that such terrorists who belong to Pakistan should be handed over to Pakistan, but the Ashraf Ghani administration was also playing a double game.
He kept them in jails for blackmail but when the US troops left Afghanistan and the Taliban took over Kabul, all the imprisoned TTP people were released.
Now these same people are committing acts of terrorism in Pakistan. TTP people are moving freely in Afghanistan, doing business there freely and presiding over various events.
Despite these facts, Afghan Taliban say that our land will not be used for terrorism in Pakistan. Now the interim government of Taliban has announced to stop mutual trade with Pakistan.
It is a miscalculation of the Taliban government that by stopping the trade, they will probably cause some economic damage to Pakistan. The share of Pakistan’s total exports in trade with Afghanistan is very insignificant.
Therefore, Pakistan cannot suffer any kind of financial loss due to stoppage of trade. Most of the goods used in Afghanistan go from Pakistan. Stopping trade with Pakistan will only harm Afghanistan.
However, the Afghanistan border is used for smuggling and illegal trade. This black money is creating many problems in Pakistan. In principle, the Pak-Afghan border should be completely closed.
Entry into Pakistan especially by foot and road transport should be completely prohibited. If there is to be trade, it should be legal trade only.
Pakistan has never announced to stop trade with Afghanistan nor has it ever said that Pakistan will not negotiate with the Afghan government to end terrorism.
The government of Afghanistan should act as a responsible government. The elites of the current interim government know very well that they do not represent the people of Afghanistan.
The current interim government has not come to power through a vote. The government of Afghanistan should first focus on developing the system. Fighting with neighbors will not solve matters and neither will Afghanistan prosper.
The people of Afghanistan need their own representative government. Afghanistan needs democracy. The people of Afghanistan need state and government institutions. The people of Afghanistan need better infrastructure.
Schools, colleges and universities are needed. Modern hospitals are needed, but the Taliban government is not paying attention to these issues. This is the reason why she is still representing a country that is underdeveloped.
