
After completing the drafting process in the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Sarfaraz Ahmed’s former franchise re-selected him.
According to Express News, the former champion team of Pakistan Super League Quetta Gladiators has completed preparations to appoint Sarfaraz Ahmed as their head coach in the 10th edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The decision was taken by the Gladiators management after Australian cricket legend Shane Watson stepped down as head coach, citing his availability due to other professional commitments.

Sarfaraz Ahmed has traveled a long journey with the team as a player for 9 years, in which he was the captain of the Quetta team for 8 years, while in the last season, he was replaced by African cricketer Riley Russo.

Under the leadership of the former captain, the Gladiators also won the honor of becoming the first PSL champions in 2019, with Sarfaraz scoring 1525 runs in 86 matches as captain.

Sarfraz was released from the squad by Gladiators before the start of this season’s draft and he became a part of the draft for the first time after 9 years, but no franchise picked him up.
