Agni Review: Leave the medal, you don’t even get medical here. A firefighter says this in this film. You know when the fire brigade is called, you would say when there is a fire, the correct answer is but there are many other life and death incidents when the fire brigade comes in handy. But perhaps many people do not even know this, this film talks about the same thing. These days, there is a lot of complaint that why nothing new is made, the same love story, the same clichéd stories, the same Heropanti of heroes completing missions, this film also completes a mission. The mission works very well to highlight the problems of firefighters. A big reason to watch this film is that an attempt has been made to do something new in it and it has been done very well. You can watch this film on Amazon Prime.
Story
Vitthal Rao i.e. Prateek Gandhi is the head of a fire station. He and his team risk their lives to save the lives of people trapped in the fire. Vitthal’s brother-in-law Samit Sawant i.e. Divyendu Sharma is in the police and is more successful than him. He has a big house, a car, Vitthal’s son also considers his maternal uncle as his hero instead of his firefighter father. And this also seems bad to Vitthal, and this is the story that this film tells about why firefighters do not get the respect that they should get. The story is woven in such a way that fire occurs in big buildings in Mumbai and the method of fire is the same. Is there any conspiracy behind this, and whose conspiracy is it, but the real story told through this story is that of the country’s heroes firefighters being ignored.
how is the movie
This is a very effective film. This film tells you what firefighters do, this film tells you that there are many such heroes around us about whom we do not even know. This film moves at a good pace and does not bore you. Kuch Kuch says, it keeps moving forward at a good pace while entertaining you. It informs you, makes you feel something and also entertains you. The biggest feature of this film is its topic, which is new, the fire scenes have been filmed very well. You may think that the main story is simple but the story of firefighters that is shown behind the story touches the heart.
acting
Prateek Gandhi has done an amazing job. A hero firefighter, a father, a husband, he is present in every shed. He has captured the Mumbai language brilliantly. The comic timing is also excellent, this is one of his best performances so far. Even though we love Divyendu Sharma more as Munna Bhaiya, this character has shown that his acting range is quite tremendous. He has also captured the Mumbai language amazingly and has breathed life into this character. Sai Tamhankar is tremendous in the role of a firefighter’s wife, Sai has done amazing acting in her simple look. Sanyami Kher, who became a firefighter, has also done a tremendous job. Jeetendra Joshi’s work is also good, child artist Kabir Shah also impresses a lot.
Direction and writing
This film has been written by Radul Dholakia and Vijay Maurya and directed by Rahul Dholakia. First of all, he should be praised for the subject he chose and the way he presented it is also praiseworthy. The film is not heavy, it has a comic touch, emotion and message too.
Overall, do watch this film and salute the fire fighters of your area.
