Aisam set ups expertise hunt, laments govt’s lack of help for Tennis

LAHORE: Pakistan’s ace tennis participant Aisam-ul-Haq lamented no help from the federal government and federation for the betterment of the sport within the nation as he launched the Talent Hunt Program to groom the younger gamers with the trials set to kick off tomorrow. 

Speaking at a press convention right here on Thursday, the tennis star claimed that the nation lacked a correct system that might produce high quality tennis gamers and introduced that his initiative would supply mentorship and help to the 16 younger rising gamers of the nation to compete on the worldwide stage.

“We used to hear the same thing everywhere. Why is it that no player from the country emerges except for me and Aqeel Khan?” he stated.

“In Pakistan, we don’t have such a system in place for tennis. When our players compete at the international level, they do not have that level of fitness.” he asserted

The nationwide tennis participant said that that they had employed the companies {of professional} trainers and coaches for the most effective grooming of the younger expertise by means of the programme and would additionally assist these gamers to find sponsorships for his or her future endeavours.

The programme, which is ready to start on August 5, can be held in 4 main cities throughout Pakistan: Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Karachi.
