Peshawar: An all-party conference on the overall law and order situation in the province including Kurram district has started in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor House, in which leaders of various parties are participating, but PTI did not participate.

The conference is chaired and hosted by Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kandi.
Addressing the conference, Sherpao said that the province is suffering from unrest, the problems are not being resolved due to political instability in the country, the Center should provide rights to the province, there is an important need for big projects like the Left Canal.
Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that terrorism is a profitable business. Who trained 40,000 terrorists and why?
He said that if no one forgives the desecration of women, then how will there be peace in Karam, sectarian riots are being fueled, aren’t Shias and Sunnis in other provinces? It has to change, cancer patients are increasing in the province because of uranium, someone else is benefiting.
Professor Ibrahim Khan said that Karma should be united for peace, the defects of the anti-terrorism law should be removed, resources should be given to the provinces, a new NFC award should be introduced, the federal excise duty on gas and oil should be fixed. 50% should be given to the center and 50% to the provinces.
Maulana Lutfur Rehman of JUIF said that terrorism should be taken seriously, it can be eradicated with a strong economy, how will terrorism end if the trade routes are closed, we will discuss the process of integration of FATA. There were opponents, billions of rupees of FATA have not been received even today, they are rich in minerals but still in debt.
Afrasiab Khattak of the National Democratic Movement said that the complaints of rigging and selection in the elections should be resolved, the situation in Afghanistan and the former FATA needs attention.
Former Governor Engineer Shaukatullah said that it is important to get the NFC award, unless there is peace in the merged districts, development is impossible, Pashtuns are being oppressed in Islamabad.
Ekhta Chamkani said that loadshedding and gas is a big problem, Afghanistan should also be discussed for peace.
