Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that today when Pakistan is facing social division and global challenges, the teachings of Dr. Allama Iqbal are the flame for us.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif posted a message on the death of poet Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal, in which he said that today we pay tribute to the ideological architect of Pakistan, great thinker and poet Allama Muhammad Iqbal on his day.
He said that Iqbal was not only a poet, but also a visionary leader who presented the concept of a separate homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent. His philosophy and his poetry not only provided ideological foundations to the Tehreek -e -Pakistan, but also gave a new spirit within the Muslims of the subcontinent.
The Prime Minister said that Allama Iqbal was the first thinker who presented a clear concept of a separate state for the Muslims of the subcontinent in Allahabad’s sermon in 1930. His view was later understood by the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Ali Jinnah and was an embarrassing interpretation in the form of patriotic Pakistan.
He said that Iqbal united Muslims not only politically, but also spiritually and spiritually, while the Muslims of the Indian subcontinent and India gave the message of progress on the path of development while maintaining their separate civilization, culture and identity.
He said that today, when Pakistan is facing social division and global challenges, Allama Iqbal’s teachings are the flame for us. He emphasized knowledge, action, faith and self -esteem, which is still the solution to all our problems today.
The Prime Minister said that we have to promote economic self -reliance, educational revolution and national solidarity by adopting their philosophy. Iqbal’s philosophy and his poetry tell us how an ideal society can be built, where justice, labor and morality are dominated. Allama Iqbal has always declared the youth as the real capital of the nation.
Shahbaz Sharif said that Allama Iqbal described the generation as Shaheen and urged to adopt continuous, acquisition knowledge and high moral values. According to Iqbal, young people are the power that can bring the nations to the height.
He advised that today’s youth should understand Iqbal’s message, get modern sciences, and play a vital role in the development of the country. This is the message that can lead our youth to success in every field.
The Prime Minister said that we have the responsibility to make Iqbal’s dreams a reality. We have to make Pakistan a welfare state by awakening ourselves, waking up with knowledge and skills, and strengthening national solidarity.
He further said that we have to empower our youth so that they can play a key role in the development of the country.
