CBS News quoted sources as saying that Trump had invited the Chinese President in the beginning of November. However, it is not yet clear whether Chinese President Xi Jinping has accepted the invitation or not.

It is noteworthy that recently newly elected President Donald Trump had warned China against increasing tariffs. A spokesperson for the Chinese Embassy in Washington declined to immediately comment. Trump has threatened to increase tariffs
Recently Donald Trump has threatened to increase tariffs on goods imported from China. It said that the US government has set a deadline of January 19 for TikTok’s Chinese-origin company ByteDance. The company was told to either sell its social media app or be prepared to face a ban in America.
According to CBS News, TikTok is currently fighting a case in court to avoid the ban. After losing a bid to stop the ban last week, the case is now in the Supreme Court here.
