Washington DC plane Crash: US President Donald Trump said on Thursday that all 64 people in the aircraft have died due to an accident of an army helicopter and American airlines.

Trump told reporters at the White House, “Both aircraft crashed and drowned in Potomac’s icy water. This is a big tragedy. Large -scale search and rescue operations were carried out throughout the night, in which every resource we have were used. Sadly, no one is left alive. ”He said that this incident happened just before 9 pm on Wednesday night.

Trump said, “Citizens from Russia and other countries have also been killed in this accident. There were some other people. We are going to announce it in about an hour. We are calling countries and contacting them. ”

This accident is being considered as the most horrific aircraft accident in the last 25 years of America.

Earlier in the day, officials said that on Wednesday night, at least 28 bodies were removed from the snowy water of the Potomac river. While landing at Ronald Reagan National Airport near Washington, a passenger aircraft collided with an army helicopter, after which a large -scale rescue operation was launched in the nearby Potomac River.

According to the airline ‘American Airlines’, the aircraft had 60 passengers and four crew members.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported that the collision occurred at around 9 pm at the Eastern standard time, when a regional aircraft flying from Wichita in Kansas collided with a military ‘Blackhawk’ helicopter while reaching the runway of the airport.
