American man who crossed America on a skateboard

A man in America has set a Guinness World Record for the shortest time crossing the United States by traveling 3,162 miles on his skateboard in 57 days, 6 hours and 56 minutes.

Chad Caruso from New York started his skateboarding journey in Venice Beach, California and ended in Virginia Beach on the Atlantic Ocean.

This effort earned him the Guinness World Record for the shortest time to cross America on a skateboard in the men’s category.

Speaking to Guinness World Records, Chad said that when he was about to finish skating at Virginia Beach, he was surrounded by hundreds of people, the police were around him and local skaters were walking with him. Unable to control emotions.

He said that during this time he was constantly reminiscing about his teenage days when he dropped out of school to pursue skating, and that he fought the voices of giving up skating all those years.
