German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier said that together we must save the world from turning into a den of looters.
According to the World News Agency, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier has severely criticized the foreign policies of American President Donald Trump.
Addressing an event in Berlin, he has warned that if international laws and unity are ignored, the world will become a place where powerful countries will subjugate weaker states to their will.
German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier added that it is a common responsibility of all of us to save the world from turning into a den of looters.
He added that after Russia’s annexation of Crimea and invasion of Ukraine, the current policies of the United States have become a serious threat to the rules-based world system, international values and democracy.
The German President said that if global unity and international law are not kept strong, powerful states will put pressure on smaller countries. Sovereignty and democracy will be weakened and the world order will be in chaos.
He also stressed that Europe must take a clear and united stand in defense of international law.
It should be remembered that US President Donald Trump said in a recent statement that he has full authority to order US military action against any country in the world.
President Trump also said that as commander-in-chief, he determines the limits of his authority, and is limited only by his own morals and personal thinking.
