According to the details, the incident took place during a robbery at a house in Mohammad City near Shah Ali Goth area of ​​Shrafi Goth police station.

The deceased was employed in a private medicine company and was the father of three daughters and the sole breadwinner of the household. According to the police, 3 armed robbers entered the victim’s house with the intention of robbery.

The body of the citizen who died in firing was transferred to Jinnah Hospital for legal proceedings, where the deceased was identified as 50-year-old Shahid son of Abdul Kareem. SHO Qamar Abbas told Express that the police have started the investigation of the incident by collecting evidence from the spot and are trying to get the CCT footage of the incident so that the accused involved in the incident can be traced.

Muhammad Umeer, the relative of the deceased in Jinnah Hospital, said that the deceased Shahid was the sole sponsor of the house and on Thursday he had taken leave from his job and three armed robbers entered his house near 12:30.

He said that the deceased was a very gentle person and had no enmity with anyone. The relatives of the deceased have demanded justice from the higher police authorities and asked that the accused involved in the incident should be traced and brought to justice.

It should be noted that this year, the number of civilians who were killed by the armed accused during the robbery incidents in Shahr Qaid has increased to 79.
