MUMBAI: Renowned Punjabi singer AP Dhillon has slammed claims of tickets being “sold out” within seconds at Indian concerts.
While speaking on The Ranveer Show, he termed the ticketing strategies as unfair which amounts to abuse of fans.
AP Dhillon said: “To say that tickets for the show were sold out in 15 seconds is completely wrong. Actually it’s all a marketing game.”
He revealed that most of the tickets are pre-sold to promoters, after which fans have to buy them at exorbitant prices.
He added: “We thought we should be in the game, but then we thought how can we cheat our fans like that.”
During this debate, AP Dhillon revealed that he has been blocked on Instagram by singer Diljit Dosanjh.
According to some social media users, AP Dhillon has hurt Diljit Dosanjh by terming the ticketing process as a fraud as tickets for his concerts sell out quickly.
