After the approval of the 27th amendment, an important meeting of the opposition parties was held under the Tehreek Tahufus Constitution of Pakistan to prepare the plan for the future.
According to Express News, the meeting was chaired by Mehmood Khan Achakzai. The meeting was held at the residence of Senator Allama Nasir Abbas in which PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja, BNP Chief Akhtar Jan Mengal, former Speaker Asad Qaiser, Zain Ali Shah, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, Ali Asghar Khan, Hussain Akhwanzada, Shaukat Basra and others attended.
In the meeting, consideration of the current political situation of the country, 27th constitutional amendment was discussed in detail. The opposition leaders consulted on important decisions, the opinions of legal experts were discussed on the possible effects of the amendment and the future strategy was discussed.
