The government lawyer questioned the petitioner’s hearing, saying that the applicant could not present evidence of Pakistani citizenship, which led to his identity cards and passports blocked.
The petitioner’s lawyer said that his client is a Pakistani citizen because his family has a Pakistani citizenship document. NADRA blocked the ID card of the applicant without any legal justification in violation of Section 18 of the National Database and Registration Authority Ordinance 2000.
