KARACHI: As coronavirus circumstances proceed to say no throughout the nation, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) permitted banks to open a restricted variety of financial institution branches throughout the nation on Saturdays.

As per the central financial institution’s directives, financial institution branches working at enterprise centres and ports might be allowed to stay open on Saturdays.

Previously, the SBP had ordered all banks to stay closed on Saturdays owing to an increase in COVID-19 circumstances throughout the nation.

However, as circumstances of the virus have declined and regular enterprise, commerce and academic actions resumed throughout the nation this month, the SBP has allowed banks to open their chosen branches on Saturdays.

All branches that open on Saturdays must abide by the coronavirus security protocols and well being tips issued by the SBP.
