A group attacked the book stall under the banner of Tauhidi public. The group surrounded the publisher and shouted slogans. Yunus’s interim government is being criticized

Yunus’s interim government was also strongly criticized for the matter. He ordered the officials to take legal action against those responsible. A statement issued from the Chief Advisor’s office said, “Such disorganized behavior violates both the rights of citizens and the laws of Bangladesh.”

Seven -member committee constituted for investigation

At the same time, the Bangla Academy has formed a seven -member committee to investigate the attack on the publishing house and anarchy. Bangla Academy said in a statement on Tuesday (February 11) that the committee has been asked to submit its report inside three working days. On the other hand, Sabyasachi stall number 128 is closed since the incident.

In the video broadcast on social media, some people wearing Islamic dress are crowded in front of the stall and are forcing a person inside and forgive to apologize.
