Federal Minister and Prime Minister’s Political Advisor Rana Sanaullah has said that we must hold talks with PTI but before that the mistake and omission must be acknowledged.
Addressing the event held on the occasion of Khawaja Rafiq’s death anniversary in Lahore, he said that as the fearless, brave political activist was martyred half a century ago at the behest of the then ruling party, he was martyred for this. That their words used to be offensive to the rulers, now it is becoming a national attitude that we do not accept anything that does not agree with our point of view.
He said that can that voice be silenced which has been tried to be closed by force, Khwaja Saad Rafiq is speaking with the same courage and bravery as Khwaja Rafiq Shaheed used to do, there is no doubt that in every country Crises happen.
He said that the crisis in Pakistan has reached such an extent that Pakistan itself looks like a crisis. Shahbaz government and Muslim League (N) deserve congratulations for avoiding the default. In default fields we exist.
The federal minister said that reducing the prices of petroleum products 10 days before the no-confidence motion was a very important step towards defaulting the country, we must negotiate, but before that, the mistake, the omission must be acknowledged.
Rana Sanaullah said that the Constitution of 1973 and the Charter of Democracy are the most important documents in the country. Before the Charter of Democracy, the leaders of both parties admitted their mistakes and the matter moved on. If there was a mandate, why didn’t you leave it, if wrong cases have been filed against you today, you had also filed wrong cases.
He said that we want to make the negotiations successful with sincere intentions, the producer of the negotiations is Khawaja Saad Rafiq, while the members of the committees are actors, if today’s talk is to be accepted then tomorrow’s talk should also be accepted, if not. So at least express your regret.
He said that if you say that politicians should sit together and solve their issues, then Muslim League (N) and Nawaz Sharif have talked about this on Minar Pakistan on 21 October 2023. This is the solution to get out of political crises. All the politicians sat together, did any answer come from them at that time, from whom it should have come.
Rana Sanullah said that this was not a thought until November 26, 2024 and that was the past attitude. The names of the leaders that Khawaja Saad Rafiq has mentioned are all credible names. Work on Sharif’s speech agenda, these names should include Nawaz Sharif, Asif Ali Zardari and Imran Khan.
The federal minister said that all the parties will not take their leadership into confidence.
Khawaja Asif’s views have a background, but we have made him a supporter of negotiations, journalistic dignitaries should also step forward and play their role to make political negotiations successful.
