After a year of tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan, there has been a significant breakthrough in relation to improving relations, under which the two countries have developed a detailed plan for institutional relations, while the Afghan Taliban has assured cooperation with Pakistan by showing flexibility on the banned TTP issue.
According to information received from Express News, a meeting of the Pak -Afghan Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) was agreed to convene soon.
According to sources, the JCC meeting will be held in Kabul before April 15, in which Special Representative Mohammad Sadiq will attend the civil and military officials.
Sources say that Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed on a priority trade agreement to promote trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
Sources say that the consultation of Pak-Afghan ministers will be held before Eid-after Eid, Afghan Minister of Commerce Nooruddin Azizi will visit Pakistan.
Pakistan’s Special Representative Mohammad Sadiq put the issue of terrorist shelters in front of the Afghan authorities and for the first time there has been some flexibility on the TTP in the Afghan Taliban, while he has also assured cooperation with Pakistan.
