Islamabad police have followed the orders of IG Islamabad, taking vigorous action against drug dealers across the city.
According to police sources, 37 bases of drug dealers were raided in different areas while a total of 267 houses were searched.
During the operation, 580 suspects were searched, of which 37 were detained and transferred to the custody.

According to police, four drug dealers were arrested in the city zone, which recovered large quantities of drugs from their possession. Cases have been registered against the arrested accused.
During the operation, 17 suspicious motorcycles were also seized and shifted to the respective police stations. Police sources say all zonal SPs participated in the crackdown against drug dealers.
Under the instructions issued by IG Islamabad, operations against drug dealers across the city have been intensified.
