Big progress in Ramadan Sugar Mills Reference

The Anti -Corruption Court Lahore has made great progress during the hearing of the Ramadan Sugar Mills reference in Lahore, while the plaintiff of the case has turned away from his statement in the courtroom.

According to the report, the plaintiff Zulfiqar said, “I did not file any such petition, I do not even know the points of the request.”

Zulfiqar said in the court that I withdraw this request, the court said that you should present all this in writing in the affidavit on the affidavit.

The plaintiff said that I would bring the affidavit from my lawyer to my lawyer, to give some time, Anti -Corruption Court Judge Sardar Mohammad Iqbal is hearing the case.

It is to be remembered that last year, the accountability court had transferred the Ramadan Sugar Mill reference against Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and former Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz to the Anti -Corruption Court.

On February 18, 2019, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) filed a new reference in the Ramadan Sugar Mills case against Prime Minister Pakistan and PML -N President Shahbaz Sharif and his son Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz.

In this reference, only both accused were nominated and alleged that they illegally built a drain for Ramadan Sugar Mills.

The reference filed in the court stated that the construction of the drain by Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz caused a loss of Rs 21 crore 30 lakh to the national exchequer, so both the accused should be punished.
