Daughter-in-law Deepa Kumari won from Imamganj.
One of the most talked about seats was Imamganj (reserved) seat in Gaya district, from where Jitan Ram Manjhi’s daughter-in-law Deepa Kumari defeated RJD’s Ritu Priya Choudhary by a huge margin of over 25,000 votes. Deepa Kumari got 1,04,861 votes, while the RJD candidate got 79,005 votes.
This excellent performance of the party continued in other seats of Magadh also. ‘Hum’ has made an important contribution in the landslide victory of NDA by winning almost all the seats of its quota.
