BR Chopra thrown out Govinda from office for rejecting Abhimanyu role in Mahabharat

Govinda News: Actor Govinda recently told that he had a role offer in BR Chopra’s Mahabharata. However, when he had rejected that role, BR Chopra expelled him out of the office. In a conversation with Mukesh Khanna, Govinda remembered those days.

Govinda rejected the role

Govinda said that he had good bonding with Renu Chopra. He used to keep coming to his house. He also used to help in his household work. One day he was called to BR Chopra’s office. Where BR Chopra told him that he has been selected for the role of Abhimanyu in Mahabharata. However, Govinda rejected the offer citing his mother’s wish. On this, BR Chopra asked- What is your mother?
He told that his mother, who was a Sadhvi, advised him not to play this role.

Further, Govinda said that at that time he does not see BR Chopra as the industry influencies. The filmmaker did not like Govinda’s reaction. He said- ‘He is a little crazy’. Then the situation worsened when Govinda defended his mother’s stance and reminded BR Chopra that he had worked in many films including Sharda. He is senior to him in the industry. However, Govinda was then taken out of his office. Remembering Govinda, Govinda said- BRP Chopra had said what is crazy, take it out.
