Raids in 828 campuses in January

According to a report by the news agency PTI, British Home Secretary Yette Cooper said, “In January 2025, the enforcement teams raided 828 commercial complexes and this is 48 percent higher than the January 2024. The number of arrests has increased to 609, which is 73 percent more than the previous year.

Many people arrested
Enforcement teams raided large-scale restaurants, tech-ud and cafes as well as places related to food and tobacco business during the raid last month. During the action at an Indian restaurant in Humberside, Northern England, 7 people were arrested and 4 were detained on the spot.
