Cabinet ratifies invoice eyeing enforcement of Ruet-e-Hilal’s selections in Pakistan

The federal cupboard on Wednesday permitted a invoice that seeks selections of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee to be binding throughout Pakistan, Geo News reported, citing sources.

The publication stated that the federal cupboard had permitted three payments  from the  Ministry of Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony.

The Ruet-e-Hilal Committee 2020, Muslim Family Law 2020, and Publication of Holy Quran Amendment Bill had been permitted in the course of the federal cupboard’s assembly.

The sources stated that underneath the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee 2020, individuals who type non-public Ruet-e-Hilal committees can be fined and imprisoned. The selections of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee shall be binding throughout Pakistan.

As per the Publication of the Holy Quran Amendment Bill, top quality paper and board shall be used for the printing of the Quran. Under the modification invoice, there shall be fines and penalties for substandard printing.
