
Canada Permanent Residency Program: Canada has opened a new path for permanent residence for foreign workers. A new program has been started for this. Under this program, foreign workers can apply for permanent residence. The new permanent residence option has been implemented for foreign nationals who wish to settle in communities with Francophone minority populations outside Quebec.
The Francophone community immigration class is an economic class. These are designed to boost the francophone population in Canada’s regular communities outside Quebec. Canada’s new rule will help become permanent residents of foreign nationals who plan to settle in Francophone minority areas of Canada and meet the eligibility criteria.
Francophone population will get a boost
This new program was also created to empower Canada’s French-speaking (Francophone) minority population and promote diversity. Its main objective is to strengthen the Francophone communities in the different provinces of Canada. Providing employment opportunities to foreign workers and increasing the productivity of communities. It is mandatory to fulfill all these criteria to apply for this program.
These criteria must be met
Applicants must have at least 1 year of work experience in category 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 under the TEER (Training, Education, Experience, and Responsibilities) system. This experience should be of full-time work, if the applicant does not have work experience, he/she should have a certificate from a recognized post-secondary program.
Status of application for permanent residence
The applicant must have lawful temporary resident status in Canada at the time of application. This status will have to be maintained until permanent residence is granted. French language proficiency is required; applicants must prove that they intend to settle in a designated Francophone community outside Quebec.
