Canal Plan – Express Urdu

Our rulers are in danger of the good -bye government. In February last year, when we had national elections, we all know what they were done and how they were done. In those days the country was going through a very big and dangerous economic crisis.

The people were very disappointed with the severe inflation, and the result of such elections was not against the expectation. Due to the tremendous inflation in the PDM’s 16 -month government, the PML -N’s vote bank was largely affected, due to the recent economic and economic downturn, re -election could not be re -elected in the country. Then Mian Shahbaz Sharif had to take over government responsibilities.

Pakistan Peoples Party was joined to meet the numerical decline in Parliament. But the PPP did not want to be part of the cabinet under these circumstances, and instead of constitutional positions, he promised to take over Shahbaz Sharif. He was concerned because of the bad economy that joining the cabinet would also have to carry the burden of all the failures to the coalition party. At the same time, it was intended to maintain its political credibility.

For the past several decades, the Pakistan Peoples Party and the Muslim League have been the major rivals to each other, and the votes of the people have been divided into the same duplicate, but since 2011, the PTI has broken their votes in their vote bank and cast good votes. Now, instead of weakening each other and showing them, the two parties have joined the third rival. It was also a matter of time and circumstances. In the PDM government, they both joined together and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari favored the Foreign Ministry’s pen for this interim period. When we say about the intelligence of President Asif Ali Zardari, he says that he is very far away, he does not say anything wrong.

By removing Pervez Musharraf, he could hardly do the same as he started planning to make himself the president of this country. Makhdoom Amin Fahim passed through this Darfani for the jealousy of the Ministry of Chief Minister and Zardari nominated Yousuf Raza Gilani for the post of Prime Minister in 2008. At that time, he was in his mind as the President for himself and the nomination of personalities in two major positions from one province is not considered politically good, so Makhdoom Amin Fahim’s jealousy was turned away.

Yes, there was talk of good good government’s mistakes. Mian Shahbaz Sharif spent his one year and also achieved some successes in the government’s deeds. In this way, they also listened to some of their sixteen months of government failures. These achievements are also behind our establishment, which gave them a finance minister whose relations have been very strong with global financial institutions, and whose efforts helped us a lot of loans from the IMF.

If that loan was not received, despite the millions of efforts, the present government would not have been celebrating its achievements today. However, the present government has announced the removal of six streams to make the deserts of Cholistan fertile. Although policy makers should have been well aware that Sindh would not accept the plan, but its advertising was started with force. The conclusion that its coalition party also took over and took over and the plan had to be abandoned.

We all know how the six canals plans can succeed in this country when the Kalabagh Dam could not be built. The government continued its proposed plan and the PPP continued to oppose it. Protests started in Sindh, Sindh government’s demands also continued to be avoided by convening a meeting of the Commonwealth Council. The government should have known how a province has a PTI government and in Balochistan, how can it fight the third province?

The Sindh government’s position in this matter is clear. Punjab province itself is getting less water than it needs, so what is the wise to reduce it and make its already fertile lands fertile to the barren lands of Cholistan in barren? The government could not prove through dialogue that there was a large quantity of water in the province of Punjab and it was giving its extra water to Cholistan. So after a month’s heated debate and statements, the federal government eventually had to surrender. If that were not done, the Pakistan Peoples Party would withdraw its support, then the federal government would have lost the land and this country would have been a chaos and uncertainty. All hopes of getting out of the economic crisis were also found in the dust.

The requirement of understanding was also that the government should immediately impose this plan. The government has now convened a meeting of the Commonwealth Council on May 2, 2025, and thus has created a legal justification for abandoning the project. Bilawal Bhutto is now claiming the success of the meeting, telling his people what the decision will be. In this meeting, a decision against the project is a wall. Only paperwork is yet to be taken. The government should make such mistakes before making such mistakes.
