
Pakistan will host the ICC event after 28 years, the International Cricket Council has announced the regular schedule of the Champions Trophy.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has today announced the schedule of the 8-team ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which will be hosted by Pakistan from February 19 to March 10.
These matches will be played in three places in Pakistan, Rawalpindi, Karachi and Lahore, while at least 4 matches will be hosted by Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Karachi’s National Bank Stadium and Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 3 group matches each, while Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host at least 4 matches, all starting at 2 pm local time.
The tournament will begin on Wednesday, February 19, with a Group A match between defending champions Pakistan and New Zealand at the National Bank Stadium, Karachi.

Pakistan’s second group match will be against India on Sunday, February 23 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The hosts will play their third and final group match on Thursday, February 27 against Bangladesh at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi.
Afghanistan, Australia, England and South Africa have been placed in Group B.

The top 2 teams from each group will play in the semi-finals, with the first semi-final scheduled for Tuesday 4 March in Dubai. The second semi-final will be played on March 5 at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. Reserve days have also been allotted to both semi-finals.
The final of the event is scheduled for Sunday, March 9, with the venue being the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore or the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai, which will be confirmed closer to the match. March 10 will be the reserve day for the final.
