China News: China has approved the establishment of a deep sea research center after years of debate and technical review. It is also being called the ‘space station’ of the sea. This decision is considered important because it can give a new dimension to marine research.

Along with this, it can also provide China an opportunity to get geopolitical benefits in one of the most resourceful areas of the world. This research facility will be installed 2,000 meters (6,560 ft) below the surface of the South China Sea with strategic importance. Many countries claim this sector, but China remains a matter of concern for other countries continuously due to its aggressive military strategy.

Learn when it will start?

This facility will be one of the deepest and technically most complex underwater installations ever. It is expected to be completely operational by 2030. This facility will have a living arrangement of six scientists, who will work inside the sea on a month -long research mission. This facility is being seen as a ‘space station’ located in the deep sea among the scientific community.

Its main objective will be to study cold oyster ecosystems. These ecosystems develop around methane-rich hydrothmal vents. Apart from this, there are also huge reserves of methane hydrates, which are known as flammable ice.

China will remove treasures from the sea

Information related to the design of this underwater station was published this month in the Manufacturing and upgrading Today magazine by Yin Gianping, researcher of South China Sea Institute of Oceanology of Chinese Academy. The major features of this station will include a long -term life support system, which will be necessary for scientists to work under the sea for a long time.

Its main objective is to construct and operate a permanent monitoring network for methane flow, ecological changes and monitoring of tectonic activities. Through this facility, China is going to take a big step to reach out to the treasures and resources hidden under the sea.

China will reach Earth’s core

Yin and his colleagues have written that the construction work of this underwater station will be started soon. He says that this station is designed to work closely with unmanned submarines, surface vessels and observatories located at the sea level, so that a four -dimensional monitoring grid can be prepared in the depths of the sea. The station will become a major part of a comprehensive infrastructure network, including China’s huge fiber-optic network and drilling ship Mengjiang laid on sea level.

The purpose of this drilling ship is to become the first ship in the world to reach the earth’s mental, which will take a big step towards highlighting the resources hidden under the sea and the internal secrets of the Earth.
