US China Relation: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi spoke on the phone to the new US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Friday (January 25, 2025) and said a sentence, which roughly means “Stay within the rules.” News agency AP quoted a statement from the Chinese Foreign Ministry as saying that Wang Yi told Rubio, “I hope you will act accordingly.”
He used a Chinese phrase that a teacher or boss usually says to a student or employee to improve behavior.
