Condolence reference for Sialkot lynching sufferer to be held at present


A condolence reference can be held on the Prime Minister’s Office at present (Tuesday), for the Sri Lankan nationwide Priyantha Kumara who was killed by a mob in Sialkot final week.

The reference is aimed to specific solidarity with the bereaved household and the Sri Lankan authorities and other people over the tragic incident.

The occasion can be attended by federal cupboard members, Sri Lankan High Commissioner in Pakistan Vice Admiral Mohan Wijewickrama, lecturers and non secular students, amongst others.

At the remembrance ceremony, a certificates of appreciation may also be awarded to Malik Adnan, in recognition of his bravery in attempting to rescue Kumara from being lynched.

Earlier, PM Imran saluted Adnan’s ethical braveness and bravado, and introduced awarding him Tamgha-e-Shujaat.

On Monday, the mortal stays of the Sri Lankan nationwide reached Colombo from Lahore airport, whereas an anti-terrorism court docket (ATC) granted bodily remand of 26 accused for 15 days for investigation.

Priyantha Kumara’s stays had been repatriated with state honours.
