Peshawar:
10 people were killed when a container fell on a passenger coach. The tragic accident is likely to increase casualties.
According to Express News, a horrific traffic accident occurred on the Kirk Indus Highway, killing 10 people. The accident happened with the old SNGPL near the Kirk Indus Highway Darbar Hotak, where the container fell on a coach full of passengers.
As soon as the accident occurred with a passenger coach from Miran Shah, a large number of citizens, police and rescue 1122 teams arrived at the scene and started rescue operations.
Rescue teams removed the passengers under the container and shifted the bodies and the injured to the hospital, of which six have been identified.
According to preliminary reports, 16 passengers were riding in the coach, of which 10 died on the spot, including children and women.
According to Rescue 1122, the condition of the three injured in the accident is critical, which has been shifted to Peshawar. The tragic accident is reported to increase casualties.
