A corruption case was heard against Pakistan Peoples Party leader, former federal minister Arbab Alamgir and Asma.
A two -member bench comprising Chief Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim and Justice Ijaz Anwar heard the hearing against the PPP leader, former federal minister Arbab Alamgir and Asma in the Peshawar High Court.
Deputy Prosecutor General NAB Muhammad Ali said that the parties are both spouses, public representatives, both spouses have a case of over -income assets, their assets in Pakistan are Rs 34 crore, in their foreign countries. There are also assets, worth Rs 2.8 billion, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, the UK government is undergoing a Mutual Legal Assistant (MLA).
Deputy Prosecutor General NAB Muhammad Ali said that with the concerned governments, our correspondence is underway by the Foreign Ministry. Anti -corruption has been sent to Central, we want the case to be sent to NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or to the Accountability Court.
The court said that another bench would be heard, the court adjourned the hearing till February 20.
