The Islamabad High Court suspended the order of Justice Babar Sattar to remove the chairman of Pakistan Agriculture Research Council, Dr. Ghulam Muhammad, while issuing a notice to the parties for their reply.
Chief Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Inam Amin Minhas heard the intra-court appeal of Dr. Ghulam Muhammad Ali. In the intra-court appeal, the stand was adopted that the decision of the single bench is illegal and unconstitutional.
Chief Justice Amir Farooq has extended the order to prevent the new tribunal consisting of retired judges from proceeding with the proceedings for three constituencies of the federal capital until February 6.
The court accepted the request to give time to the Election Commission and other parties to submit their responses.
