The Anti-Terrorism Court in Islamabad adjourned the hearing on the post-arrest bail applications of 250 accused in the D Chowk protest cases on November 26 till January 9.
The duty judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court, Tahir Abbas supra, conducted the hearing in which the lawyers of the accused, Ansir Kayani, Sardar Higza, Amina Ali, Fathullah Barki and others appeared.
In the remarks, the court said that in these cases, many accused have been granted bail, some have been released, sick accused and children have been granted bail.
The court said that all these applications are kept for tomorrow, the judge will come tomorrow, the prosecutor requested that these applications be given a date of Friday or Saturday, the court adjourned the hearing of the case till January 9.
Two cases have been registered against more than 250 workers of PTI in Kohsar police station, Karachi Company and Secretariat, one case each in Margalla police station, Tarnool, Ramna.
