It was decided to provide Wi -Fi facility for passengers at all major railway stations in the country.
Federal Minister Hanif Abbasi and PITB chairman met in which talks were held on Wi -Fi facilities.
Railway employees’ attendance will be biometric, all sectors of the railway will be taken to digital licenses.
Federal Minister for Railways Mohammad Hanif Abbasi made a surprise visit to the Lahore Railway Station and checked the quality of cleaning and the quality of food.
He directed the waiting area and the Business Lounge to be completely upgraded in 60 days and said that the work of applying AC in the waiting area should be dealt with soon.
The Railway Minister also reviewed the progress of installing the platform of the Lahore Railway Station. The Federal Minister said that the contact application would be simplified.
