Ahmed Shahzad, the opener of the national team expressed his disappointment after the defeat in the first T20 match against South Africa and raised a question mark on the team’s strategy.
In a tweet on social networking site X (Twitter), Pakistan had a great opportunity to restrict South Africa to around 150 but the Proteas put up a total of more than 180 runs due to their defensive approach.
He questioned captain Mohammad Rizwan’s strategy for giving the young spinner Sufyan Muqim the last over of the innings, that he handed the ball to the youngster in difficult situations, due to which he came under pressure.

It should be noted that the second T20 between the two teams will be played at Centurion on Friday.
