DI Khan:
Unknown persons attacked the house of a police constable in Tank district and kidnapped the constable and set the house on fire. The body was recovered from the nearby fields.
According to the details, last night, unknown terrorists suddenly attacked the house of police constable Akhtar Zaman Sukna village Garhashada and completely set the house on fire and destroyed all the belongings of the house. During the attack, unknown armed men also abducted Police Constable Akhtar Zaman.
Immediately after the incident, District Police Officer Tank Aslam Nawaz Khan issued emergency instructions to all the concerned police officers, in the light of which a heavy police force led by the concerned DSP and SHO immediately conducted a search in the area. While carrying out the operation, raids were started in different parts of the area and search for terrorist hideouts while security was tightened in sensitive areas, later the body of the constable was found in the nearby fields.
DPO Tank says that the operation will be continued to restore peace and tranquility in the area and take strict action against the terrorists. After the police identified the whereabouts of the accused, additional personnel have been added to the operation to speed up the arrest of the terrorists.
Police have increased vigilance on all streets and roads in the area and have directed citizens to report any suspicious activity. Along with this, the police have alerted the force keeping in mind the other threats in the area so that the terrorists cannot again be active in another area.
DPO Tank further vowed to nab the terrorists soon and bring them to book. Senior police officials have appealed to the public to assist the police in the operation and report any suspicious activity to the police immediately to prevent terrorism in the area.
