Doctors Review: 17 people lose their lives and shortly thereafter some trainee doctors start joking among themselves. A trainee doctor gets angry on this and you think that doctors see all this every day, so would they stop eating every day, stop laughing every day, stop living their life.
Doctors are a part of all of our lives, we all fall ill sometimes, our family members and acquaintances sometimes go to the hospital, but do we ever think about what goes on in the lives of these doctors. This series with amazing acting by Sharad Kelkar and Harleen Sethi shows all this and shows it in a very concise manner. There are many reasons why this 10 episode series on Jio Cinema should be watched at all costs.
Story
Doctor Ishaan Ahuja i.e. Sharad Kelkar is a neurosurgeon in a big hospital. Doctor Nitya Vasu i.e. Harleen Sethi comes to the same hospital as a resident, but her aim is more to take revenge from Doctor Ishaan than to learn medicine because Nitya feels that Doctor Ishaan did not perform her brother’s surgery properly. But after coming here, he comes to know the truth about the life of Dr. Ishaan and other doctors which changes his thinking.
What happens when a patient dies after a doctor’s surgery? What happens when a VIP is admitted to hospital? What happens when a case comes up in which the media is interested? This series shows a lot. It tells a lot and makes you feel a lot and for this story definitely watch this series.
how is the series
This is a very well organized series. There is no violence in this. Not useless heroism, not songs, not useless melodrama but something that is related to your life. The hero of this series is a doctor. This series shows the relationship between doctors and patients in a very sensible and measured manner. It shows how doctors deal with stubborn patients.
Many times we get angry at doctors without even thinking. After watching this series you will not do this. This series tells what happens to the patients and their relatives and what happens to the doctors. This series is a good medical drama which should be watched. To improve the relationship between you and the doctors because this relationship will always be there.
acting
Sharad Kelkar once again proves that he is an amazing actor. Be it playing the magic of his voice by becoming Baahubali or creating different characters on the screen, you feel like that Doctor Ishaan, he got so immersed in his character that he took you along with him to the hospital. The seriousness of a doctor, his body language, you find his character perfect, and on top of that, his amazing voice is just icing on the cake.
Harleen Sethi’s work is fantastic. He has played the role of a resident doctor amazingly. There is no glamor in this character. There was no need for this and this character shows that Harleen’s acting range is quite good. Aamir Ali’s work in the role of Harleen’s sister is good but his role is less. Vivaan Shah’s work is very good, Viraf Patel has acted well.
direction
Sahir Raza has directed this series. He has made amazing series like Married Woman and here too he has come fully prepared. He has done a lot of research for this series and has shown things exactly as you see in a hospital. He has not put things unnecessarily, that is, like a good doctor, he has given every medicine as much as is required.
Overall, if you are fond of watching good content then watch this series.
