Donald Trump Gaza Displacement Plan asks Jordan Egypt to take Palestinians Israel Hamas reacts

Israel Palestine Conflict: US President Donald Trump has created a fierce comment on Jordan and Egypt to accept Palestinians more than Gaza. This statement has become a cause of concern among the residents of Gaza and its neighbors. The proposal has led to the fear of Gaza’s 2.3 million Palestinians being excluded from the beach and anxiety in Arab countries, which have long been disturbed by the effects of instability from such displacement.

“Nakba” or disaster fear for Palestinians has long been covered, when 700,000 Palestinians were evicted from their homes at the time of the construction of Israel in 1948. Many of these people or their descendants are still living in refugee camps in Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, while some were settled in Gaza. Israel denies that he was forced to be evacuated.

What has happened during this struggle in Gaza?

In the recent struggle, Israel carried out bombing and ground attack in Gaza, destroying the urban areas. Palestinian and United Nations officials say that there is no safe area left in Gaza. Most of the residents of Gaza have already been displaced several times due to Israeli invasion, which took place on 7 October 2023 after the attack on Israel of Hamas, killing 1,200 people.

Many Palestinian residents of Gaza have said that they are not ready to leave, even though they get a chance, because they are afraid that they will face permanent displacement, as it was in 1948. Israel asked the Palestinians living in the north of Gaza to be shifted to the southern regions, but as the attack increased, Israel asked him to go towards Rafa.

What do Arabia, Western countries and United Nations say?

From the beginning of the conflict, Arab governments, especially Egypt and Jordan, have said that Palestinians should not be evicted from their home, as they want to create an independent state in the future, which will include the west coast and Gaza. The Israeli attack may further reduce the possibility of Palestinians withdrawing, leading to further weakening of a two-state solution.

Israeli Foreign Minister, Israel Catz, said on 16 February 2024 that Israel is not planning to deport the Palestinians from Gaza. He said that Israel will coordinate with Egypt so that Palestinian refugees do not harm. However, the statements of some Israeli leaders are airing the fear of new Nakba in Palestinian and Arab countries.
