Drake is facing criticism online after pulling a petition against Universal Music Group (UMG) and Spotify.
The petition, which alleged that the companies conspired to inflate streaming figures for Kendrick Lamar’s diss track ‘Not Like Us,’ was suddenly withdrawn, leaving fans and critics questioning his motives. Drake’s legal team later clarified that no financial penalties would follow the withdrawal.
Despite the backlash, Drake chose not to address the controversy directly. Instead, he shared a series of cryptic Instagram posts, including two selfies. In one, he showed support for Dipset, wearing a jacket gifted by Cam’ron, captioning it “dips forever.”
The second photo featured Drake in camouflage gear with matching Timberland boots.
Drake also shared a photo of Yung Lean without a caption.
The move sparked intense speculation online, with many questioning Drake’s reasoning for withdrawing the petition and criticizing him for initiating the legal action.
