Qatar Princess Driver Convicted: Britain’s Westminster Magistrates Court has sentenced a London man for stalking and harassing the Princess of Qatar. 47 year old Abusalah had previously been the driver of Rajkumari. The driver was accused of stalking the princess, which Ihad Abusalah admitted and said, “I think the princess also loves me and we are in a romantic relationship.” Abusalah’s lawyer told the court that he was mentally ill and due to this misunderstanding, he had divorced his wife.

Former driver Ihad Abusalah stalked the princess during March 2024 and sent her gifts and notes, he sent bracelets and flowers on the princess’s birthday and harassed her by repeatedly calling her. Abusalah had the misconception that the princess also loved him and they had a romantic relationship.

princess reaction
Rajkumari’s lawyer told the court that Abusalah’s actions had troubled us a lot. He would be seen around their house and try to send gifts through the employees. The princess also expressed concern about the safety of herself and her family.

Abusalah’s argument
Abusalah’s lawyer argued that he was mentally ill, due to which he developed misunderstandings about his relationship with the princess. He even divorced his wife due to this misunderstanding.

court decision
On the basis of the confession, the court convicted Abu Salah. He was ordered to take part in 30 days of rehabilitation activities along with a 12 month community order. A three-year restraining order was issued, banning Abusalah from contacting the princess and her family or going anywhere near their home.
